Belen Jordan

Belen has been practicing Pilates in a variety of ways over the past 11 years and became fascinated with its many applications to build and improve overall strength, flexibility, balance, posture and coordination.

She trained with STOTT Pilates in the intermediate and advanced mat repertoires as well as pre-natal preparation and post-natal rehabilitation Pilates at the Centre for Women’s Fitness in New Jersey.

Belen has qualified in Pilates for Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, Pilates Programming for Osteoporosis Management as well as Pilates Programming for Scoliosis Management.

In order to further her training Belen is finalising her Diploma in Advanced Personal Training.

“I don’t consider Pilates as just exercise but a complete body conditioning and balancing system that will make you feel refreshed and give you a sense of both physical and emotional well-being.

My classes focus on exercising the body as a whole: we work the muscles of the trunk, the arms and legs, in order to balance the workout and enhance the mind and body connection.
During the flow of the workout I educate students on the principles of core stability as well as the muscles that are responsible for balance; I will use visualisation techniques in order to enhance the experience and result”
