I was living in New York City and seeking a low impact method of exercise that was not going to impinge my already weak knees and hips. I went to my first Pilates class and was hooked. I loved the body awareness, mind focus, and ability to push your boundaries of strength and control.
I started to transition from my career in Hospitality by attending a Pilates Mat course with Pilates Academy International at the famed Pilates on Fifth. I continued to certify in Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair and Ladder Barrel. After becoming fully certified in STOTT apparatus I taught at Pilates on Fifth up until my move back to England in late summer of 2018, where I’ve been having fun teaching local Mat and Reformer classes.
