I started my Pilates journey in 2009 in Cape Town and it has been quite an adventure. I qualified in 2011 with Body Control Pilates South Africa and throughout the following years have continued with professional development participating in a variety of Pilates courses and workshops. Whether it’s practising on the mat, reformer, wundachair, tower or barre it is the guiding principles of pilates that speak to me. Alignment, Centring, Breathing, Concentration, Flowing movement, and Mindfulness that co create the language of efficient human movement.
