“Mecia has been dancing since the age of 3. Trained professionally and worked in the industry for over a decade, which involved performing in various shows abroad, touring the UK and even danced the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.
As a professionally trained dancer, movement in all forms, wellness and fitness of the body and mind is her true passion. Yoga was a natural progression from dance as it aided in building strength and flexibility. Mecia is trained in a variety of dance disciplines, teaching group and private 1-2-1 classes and has taught over 90 couples their first wedding dance to date!
Yoga-wise, Mecia teaches power vinyasa flow, specialising in pregnancy and post-natal not long before becoming a mum three years ago to a beautiful little boy. Mecia has been practicing yoga for some time now and feels privileged to be able to share her passion with others. Currently, she offers a variety of studio classes which are positive, energetic and flowing. All levels and bodies welcome.

Yoga – power vinyasa flow, her style is often labelled as “Graceful warrior”. Mecia’s classes are fluid, strong yet playful drawing from her dance background. Explores breathwork and often use of props. Classes are suitable for ALL levels – yes this does include absolute beginners!“
Pregnancy Yoga -a vinyasa style pregnancy yoga class, suitable from 12 weeks to birth, flowing through safe postures to music. Welcome to beginners and those with experience, you don’t need to have practiced yoga before to enjoy the benefits of these classes.
Yoga can play a key role in enhancing the experience of this precious time helping you enjoy your pregnancy with minimal discomfort. We learn various sequences & techniques to draw from to help us achieve our best possible birthing experience. This is time for you and your growing baby, everything else can wait while you’re on the mat!
