Hello, I’m Susan and in 2017 I qualified as a Body Control Pilates teacher. Before this I worked as a Primary School Teacher, I then had a break from teaching to have my children. It was during this time that I discovered Pilates. I had always enjoyed movement and as soon as I tried Pilates I knew that I had found an exercise that was perfect for me. The precise, controlled approach was fantastic for my physical health and general well-being. As my passion for Pilates grew I decided to train as a Pilates teacher. Since then, I have had an amazingly diverse range of clients; people with lower back pain, runners with injuries, executives with stressful jobs who come to unwind and others who simply enjoy the movement patterns and the strength work that Pilates provides.

I have always tried to deliver the best practice for my clients by continually updating my knowledge through attending different courses and workshops.

I have additional qualifications in the following areas: Lower Back Pain, Pilates for Pregnancy and Post-Natal Exercise, Bone Health, Pilates for the Older Person, Pilates for Neurological Conditions and Reformer Pilates.
