Pilates transformed my life when I found myself virtually unable to walk during my first pregnancy. Within a few classes, I was mobile again and, by the end of my pregnancy, I felt stronger than ever. Regular Pilates practice allowed me to build on this strength and find the confidence to explore new forms of fitness, including boxing and HIIT.
My improved physical state was soon reflected in my mental wellbeing because standing and moving better naturally improves breathing and encourages tension release, promoting a sense of calm. It’s this vital connection between body and mind that I’m keen to share with my Pilates clients, helping them reap the many rewards of investing a little time on the mat.
I aim to make my classes welcoming and enjoyable for everybody – no Pilates experience necessary!
