My decision to train as yoga teacher stems from my meditation journey that started when I was 17, and how it supported me whilst going through a traumatic period. It helped me get over a lot of mental barriers and opened my mind up to a whole new perspective on myself and life.
I am a qualified Kundalini Yoga teacher which involves different forms of yoga, meditation, pranayama and yoga Nidra. Yoga for me is a complete union with the self and has transformed my life both physically and mentally.
Playing semi-professional basketball for over 10 years, I found that yoga has allowed me to perform at a much higher level not only because it helps with relaxing the body but overtime it subtly builds strength within. Allowing to prevent injuries and help with the recovery of the body.
I am very passionate about making more people aware of the benefits of yoga as it can positively impact everyone’s life in different ways. Changing the perspective from the idea of Yoga in the west to a more authentic view of what it is and what it can do for you physically, mentally and emotionally.
